First-issue orders close Sunday 25 October at 11:59 pm. The winner and runners-up will be announced Sunday 1 November at 6 pm, after all entries have been reviewed.
Print and digital subscriptions both count. Your first magazine is Issue 01. Entries close at the same time on 25 October 2026. Payment must succeed by the order cutoff; late initial payments are refunded and the new subscription cancelled.

How the milestones work
- Print and digital paid subscriptions both count towards the total.
- The final total is determined by successful payments received by 25 October 2026 at 11:59 pm Pacific/Auckland, subject to the competition terms.
- Every milestone reached adds to the prizes already unlocked. For example, at 1,500 paid subscribers the winner receives the base prize, filters and carry kit, the tripod or SD card, and the Sony lens.
- One winner receives the cumulative package. A milestone that is not reached is not included.
[ Faber] will be judging the images and selecting the winner and runners-up after all entries have been reviewed. Approved results appear Sunday 1 November 2026 at 6 pm Pacific/Auckland. Until then—or if results are still being reviewed—judging continues here.
