What you actually get

A book, not a bundle of PDFs.

A4, perfect bound, matte laminate cover, heavy uncoated inner pages. Numbered by hand and posted flat in a rigid mailer, so it arrives without a bent corner.

Issue .00 is out on 14 September. After that, issues ship in the first week of each month. Subscribe before the last Sunday of the month to be in that run; after that you start with the following issue.

Questions

How do I get the student rate?

Subscribe on the student link using your university or polytechnic email address. If the address doesn't check out we'll email you before anything is charged again, and you can either send proof of enrolment or move onto the standard rate. It's re-verified once a year.

Do you ship outside New Zealand?

Not on the standard rate. Overseas postage costs more than the subscription does. Email us and we'll work something out, or take the digital subscription.

Can I cancel?

Any time. Every Stripe receipt has a link to manage or cancel your subscription, and cancelling stops the next charge. You keep any issue already printed for you.

What happens if an issue is late?

You'll hear about it from us before you notice it. If a month is skipped entirely, that month isn't charged.

I want to buy one copy, not subscribe.

Sometimes, depending on the month's run. Email us and we'll tell you whether there's one going.

Where does my money go?

Printing, postage, and paying contributors. There are no sponsors backing this and no investors to satisfy. The subscription is the entire business model, which is why it costs what it costs.
